Vacation Essentials: Punta Cana

This Saturday I leave for my week long vacation to Punta Cana in the Domincan Republic. I am so excited to leave all this snow and slush behind and trade in my parka for a bikini (and a pina colada). I’m a firm believer in planning, especially when it comes to vacations. That’s why I have carefully chosen all of my beach and warm weather essentials below.

I love the smell of this conditioner! It’s perfect to keep your hair soft after a day of salt, sun, and chlorine.

I bought this trio from Bath & Body Works. It smells amazing and keeps my skin soft. Plus, it’s the pefect scent to wear on a tropical vacation.

I bought this top a while ago from Nasty Gal and I have been dying for an occasion to wear it! Shown here with black denim shorts, but it would look good with a black skirt, or white cutoffs too.

No trip is complete without a few bright coloured bikinis to show off your tan! I bought these from Ardene while they were having a BOGO sale on all tops and bottoms. I’ve been seeing a lot of ruffled bikini bottoms lately and so I decided to try out the trend. You can wear them under a crochet beach cover-up (like my white one from Target) or a maxi dress (Also shown here).

I have never visited the Dominican before so if you have any tips for me let me know! Also feel free to share any of your best beauty and fashion ideas.

And stay tuned for pictures from my vacation! You can also follow me on Instagram for some more personal photos while I’m away.
